"As long as you have a boat you have a home." -- Jimmy Buffett

Sunrise over the harbor, Newburyport Massachusetts.

Same place, only during daylight. The boat on the left is the Lively, my friend Scott's wooden sloop. The wooden electrical tower on the left (and it's twin on the right that's out of the picture) were finally taken down last year and the lines now run under the harbor in a conduit.

This ensign eventually became so tattered I had to take it down. It's in my computer room now.

Approaching Rockport, Massachusetts. I'll flake the mainsail properly when I get into port.

Rockport Harbor, Rockport Massachusetts.

Outside the Sandy Bay Yacht Club, Rockport.

In town, Rockport.

Alway$ $omething Two, my friend Paul's Catalina 27, races me home from the Isles of Shoals in foggy conditions. Not only didn't he win, he completely disappeared into a thick fog bank about two minutes after this picture was taken. Eventually we were both fogged in.
